Valve did once had a close competitor Impulse but even that didn't last long.

Guys... it will arrive on Steam eventually. Not when it is release but months later. Look how long it takes for EA games to jump into Valve service. I doubt EA wants to miss out on making extra profit even if it means having to play with Valve card.

No not really. Think of it as Battlefield + hardcore mode + simulation like style. I played the first one and it was one of the most enjoyable gaming since playing BF1942. Who is looking forward to Red Orchestra 2 this month? Personally I think most people are overlooking this game simply either it is 'another WW2 game' or it is too complex.
