Jesus fucking Christ. I knew the most basic facts of the story — rape victim bullied into recanting by police and charged with a crime, police later discovered her photo on the rapist’s camera. But reading the detailed account, and the absolute hell that poor child was subjected to, was so much worse.

Anyone who has tried to adopt hates this. That's great that you regret the first 5 years of your kids life, but most of us would give anything to have been around for these kids from day one. Comments like these aren't helpful.
