The UFO set the whole thing in motion, and now it's finishing off the job. If the UFO is the viewer, the outside observer, then the viewer is the reason for all of this garbled nonsense. Without the UFO (the viewer) there'd be nothing going on of any interest in Minnesota or the Dakotas.

I know I'm 8 months late to this comment thread, but that was my favorite Simpsons couch gag ever. I am SAMPSON.

I swear I've spent a hundred hours alone perfecting my highway interchange and on-ramp off-ramp roundabout system in Cities: Skylines. And when the "red" traffic zone turns into yellow or even green, you feel so accomplished.

Introspection makes for bad clickbait. Gut reactions are what drives the "news."

There wasn't any TIME to watch the whole series! They had to be outraged.

I always saw that more of a "she wants to be a stupid white girl" punchline than a Native American joke. But what do I know, I've never even flown in the Great Iron Eagle (or been in the Air Force).

I was hoping this would be a two-season series because 12 episodes seems like just enough to wrap everything up. I'm not sure how they're going to pull off a third season at this point; are they going to give all four kids a perspective? Or maybe Luisa gets dropped into the mix?

I usually just force-feed someone an episode. One that isn't too involved in the universe, but still gets the point across about what the show IS.

3 seasons in, and it's still the best show I've seen that attempts to explore what it's like not only struggling with personal mental illness, but how family and friends deal with it as well. And the first show I've seen that dove straight into the nitty gritty of having an abortion. A bunch of firsts and bests.

When Jost said "to comment on the Golden Globe nominees" I was prepared to see Jedediah Adkinson roll on out, and was quickly disappointed.

Three seasons in, and I'm now convinced this show exists primarily to test the limits of contract law. From signing your DNA rights over for cloning purposes to signing your entire life over for two weeks, is Nathan secretly the greatest legal activist of our lifetime?

Reminded me of an early Michael Scott: "I want to have a hundred kids so I can have a hundred friends and no one will say no to being my friend." "If anyone at a party criticizes me for being unfun, I can tell them they're wrong, and I have scientific proof that I am fun."

Gosling almost broke in every sketch. And somehow it was without diminishing returns. I've never seen Aidy Bryant so close to breaking before, or Kate McKinnon, if I recall. Glad to see even the most professional couldn't handle "super off-the-books."

Speaking of rhinoceros, in "Gift of the Magi," Larrson asks Molly about one of her drawings "is that a rhinoceros?" So there's at least a literal mention of rhinoceroses. If that means anything at all.

The only reason Rye gets hit by the car is because of the lights in the sky. And someone (I forget who) says the UFO lights appear in sets of three. Like standard three-point lighting on a film set. The whole reason it's a compelling story is because we want to watch a compelling story, so something has to set it in

And that's why we have Colbert. I thought we would've lost any sense of political comedy once the Report ended, but thankfully he still manages to fit in at least three political segments a week. Not to mention how many candidates he's gotten on his punch card already! Jeb!, Bernie, Cruz, Trump, Kasich, Clinton.

Just as he's about to murder you, he breaks, starts giggling, and just points at the knife in his hand, sheepishly.

So Amy and Tina are hosting on the 19th, 4 days after the next Republican debate.

No one knows what you're talking about, you idiot! … You know, how you talk to people in the comments section.

So happy to see that the long-form method this season is (hopefully) going to pay off. It'd be difficult for most shows to leave the view in suspension for 80% of the season before even hinting at the ultimate endgame of the season.
