@ClownBaby: Agreed. A fleeting bit from a show no one watches (million or two viewers is no one, if it is even that much) from one or two episodes doesn't really equate to a world wide smash hit comedy character that had 3 films and a ridiculous wealth of stupid catch phrases. Austin Powers analogy doesn't hold.
@Greek McPapadopoulos: People get to mine all the time looking for prison rape jokes.

@AlanWhickers: I know everyone hates my Pats and is happy that they are blowing up down the stretch here, but can anyone honestly hate Welker? They cannot.
@Derek Pegritz: You understand then that there is a very real distinction between electronic music with soul and the type of boring, four on the floor, thumping cheese that most people think of when they think of electronic music then, right? Where does the difference come from?
@vagvoba: @ripfire: "I didn't really remember the story"
@braak: You are, as usual, completely correct.: If you carried this analogy over to music, for example, it wouldn't hold. There are many, many things going on in the background of a song that you would never hear unless you were deconstructing it, or a musician, that add up to the full effect of the song. Some people…
@max: hard to say if the defense is worse than the offense now.

@geckoagua: ha. well, about once a month I usually try to pretend I'm still in my 20s and drink like an a-hole. It takes me about a month to forget how miserable I feel the next day and do it again.
@Roklimber: This was the quickest devolution from joke to nerd I have ever seen in my life.
@geckoagua: True. I would be exhibit A. I exercise 355 days a year. I look fine, but nothing like a video game character. Maybe it's those 10 days I take off that are holding me back.
@geckoagua: Yeah, I see what you did there, but what you said isn't true. A woman who exercises constantly is not going to have giant floating double d breasts.
@#c17153313:Maybe they don't sell sex to you. I'm a straight male, but if you don't think that part of the appeal of the men in, say, WWE, is hugely about sex and their perceived sexual prowess then you are mistaken.
@jayntampa: I don't know what sort of world most of these people on here are walking around in now, but the pressure to maintain a certain level of attractiveness as a man is very real.
@geckoagua: I think that's a convenient excuse a lot of people make to not work out. Is it easy to look like that? No. Is it feasible for most men to actually look like a cartoon or video game character? No. But you can come a lot closer through simple hard work than a woman can to the size 0 waist, double dds look.
@Wuth: "while men's bodies are considered hard and ugly."
