I'd rather have someone tattoo Eye of Judgment AR markers in their body, then USE THEM IN A MATCH... Somehow.

@The Albatross: Greatest satirical song of all time.
@ChrisTeeAhn: Humans are NOT Herbivores. Our mouths have both flat (herbivore) teeth and pointed (carnivore) teeth. We're omnivores, just like bears. Ideally, both meat and plants should be in our diets.
@LordDisco: They discussed this concept at length in Final Fantasy X (with blitzball)
I remember. I didn't leave Kotaku after that, i'm not leaving Sony after this. The Gawker audience and the general audience for a game console are quite different, though.
@Petey 2 Kold: That was non-sequitur, but kind of funny.
@Veritas7Ax: I think they HAD to do this for PR reasons. PSN would die if Sony didn't do this. It sucks for them in some regards, but this is what they had to do to save their business. I just hope that the hackers are caught so they don't pull it again. Or maybe they'll go after someone else, and people will notice…
@Zeix: There have been several high profile hacks that have affected a lot of people. With enough effort, any system can be cracked.
@Devante: No, that's the Halo effect. [en.wikipedia.org]
@dowingba: Reverse racism is... Racism. The term is operating under the false assumption that you can't be racist against a majority.
@ThisCharmingMan: no, it's true. This is just a BS story. People like getting clicks and ad money from stories like this...
@DoubleK: I was going to say the same thing. I think this is a LOT of PS3 users.
EVERYONE with Plus gets free game trials. I guess three extra months of plus would make sense, though.
One free Sony-made PS1 game for everyone without plus, 2 for those with plus. Option 2: three months of free trials for non-plus, and an extra month of plus for those with it.
No one is sure the guy did it intentionally. You're just assuming he did. Because... we want to hear about people doing things we can get angry at.
@GunFlame: opened the chest...the chest is empty: I won't be boycotting them either, but this has made a lot of people angry, and I think that was the intent of the hackers more than the credit card numbers... There's a good chance they'll be tracked down if they use any of those numbers. I think this was only done…
@crabperson: you have
Ah, ok. That's cool. I can respect that.
Not so. Remember this beauty at the PS3 launch in Europe?
