I think this argument ignores the nature of F1. I could be called a “traditionalist” or whatever, but your argument of “you don’t care about the racers if you don’t support closing the cockpits” is kind of ridiculous. If that’s the case, why not also close the wheels off so they’re not open? Why not remove the driver…

I know it wouldn’t seem like it, but Beetle Adventure Racing was one of the most fun racing games I played growing up. My brother and I would play for hours and hours.

I was in high school when the original came out. Unfortunately, I never managed to see it in theaters. When I finally saw it, I was in love with it despite its cheesiness and shortcomings. Since then, I’ve never missed a release night.
