I can do research whether I’m an adult or not, but that doesn’t change the fact that for the article to be good journalism, it should be there.

I’m surprised this vid is from 2015, it could be easily extended tenfold by now.

I agree with you if this was in a conversation or something, but this is an article - journalism. Even if Ethan didn’t go to school for this, he’s been around long enough to know better.

I’d like to read the reasoning. So a long scroll wouldn’t bother me. Just set the auto-scroll at a slow pace you can keep up with reading. No clicking necessary.

I know the game is supposed to allow for modding. I wonder if it’ll allow people to basically model out parts of cities better. Given it’s already going to be about 152GB, I can only imagine that will be pushed over a TB with even a handful of cities.

Rogue Legacy 2, Flight sim, Battletoads, Peaky Blinders, Samurai Jack... and I still have only gone 30 turns on my Total War game and 2 levels in Desperados 3. I need more time in a week.

In 2014, Satya Nadella ordered 18,000 people to be laid off. Mostly from Nokia (which kind of made sense, but as opposed to re-purposing them or changing their role, they got laid off). So let’s say the average was $100,000 a year. That’s 1.8 billion dollars in a year. Following year, Nadella made $18.3mil, that’s 183

Spot on. I’ve seen this time and time again. New exec comes, the first thing they do is “restructure” because the old way was simply not working. Midst the chaos, knowledge is lost, layoffs (“making the company lean), any dip is then explained by workers “adjusting to their new roles” which weren’t an issue before.

Casablanca, The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek, Children of Paradise, The Night of the Hunter, A Raisin in the Sun, Laura, The Lady Vanishes, On the Waterfront, Seven Samurai, All About Eve. You’re welcome.

As a person who loved this game and want to recommend it to as many people as possible, this news is unfortunate. As a programmer, however, I just wanna run in there and fix their bugs. I remember coming back to a small studio once (I contracted on and off), and finding that every time a user would go to a particular

Remember Kotaku Core? That didn’t last. How long until latest is put out to pasture?

Also notice that the new SEGA acronym corresponds to xbox controller button layout colors. S - yellow - Y; E - blue - X; G - red - B; A - green - A button. Before Attack at bottom was blue, but Skills on top was green.

That’s what I meant, so they could have named her Catie. Like guy.brush became Guybrush. He didn’t have a name before then, either.

1) That Gamora looks legit. Like if she walked up to me, I’d think that was Saldana.

Her name is Cat13, and they went with Catty and not Catie... seriously?

When Lionhead was axed, at least half the people (at the time) were moved to Playground Games. People move, it’s been years, but I’m sure there’s few vets still there.

I think what’s missing is lighting effects. Like everything looks kind of flat in color. Maybe it was an artistic choice, but it’s like there’s a light dust storm everywhere and everything has this weird brownish look to it. Like there’s no deep shadows/blacks. Look at 4:33 or so. Nothing really pops out in either

For me it’s not about building a gaming PC. For me, it’s about the fact I like to sit on the couch, where I got a big TV, surround sound, can recline, put my feet up and relax. Gaming chair in front of a 34" monitor and 2 speakers just isn’t the same.

Got a free trip to Annapolis and got to see the Naval Academy there while in HS as a junior (more than a decade ago). Out of about 40 of us, only one actually enlisted eventually (she was a sophomore at the time). Can’t say she regrets it, haven’t spoken to her since I graduated, but she seemed happy on facebook.
