I love, love, love this movie! One of the absolute best soundtracks ever! A literal hammer duel at the end! Baby Willem Dafoe! Serious Rick Moranis! This movie was a huge hit in Japan and influenced SO MUCH ANIME!!!! This is like the 4th or 5th thing on the internet I’ve seen in the past month talking about this movie

Never heard of him.

I don’t know what to tell you.  He’s one of the most passionate players I’ve ever seen.  It’s part of why I feel he’s the best.  There are certainly other players who are faster or more technically capable, but for me, no one touches my emotional center as well as Joe’s music does.  And that passion absolutely comes

I am not even a musician and I LOVE Joe Satriani.  I’ve seen him multiple times in concert, he’s IMHO the greatest living guitarist, and I’m seeing him in concert again in May with Steve Vai!  And every concert of his I go to, they’re sold out.  So people are most definitely listening to Joe.

I will never understand Why Legacy didn’t blow up bigger.  I thought it was a fantastic movie and a fantastic sequel.  It was absolutely amazing in every way.

Stop trying to make fetch happen.

I’m probably not like most people that don’t like sports, but I’ll try to explain why I can’t stand them.

What about the train fight scene in Snowpiercer?

This list is completely null and void without Godzilla Minus One on it, especially in the top spot.

Sorry, but the winner should clearly be Takashi Yamazaki for Godzilla Minus One.  To be able to bring a reboot of the original masterpiece that not only has important things to say filled with pathos and character, but amazing special effects for the mere budget of $15 million, there is no director more deserving of

My condolences to all locations gaining the abomination that is In-N-Out burger.  Boring plain burgers with a side of Christofascism.

Raimi-cam makes everything better.

Seriously.  This was the first movie I saw Leo in and I was like, “holy crap, that kid is going toe to toe with Hackman in the acting category.  He’s got talent and is definitely going to go places.”

One of my fav movies!

Seriously.  This was actually the first thing I saw Leo in and was like, “this kid is going toe to toe with Gene F’ing Hackman!  He’s gonna go places!”

This list is meaningless without The Quick and The Dead on it (and at a very high placement).

Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #1 was the first real comic I ever bought and it’s what got me interested in collecting comics.  That Giffen/Levitz run of LSH is the best run in the history of comics.  And The Great Darkness Sage is the greatest storyline in all of comics.  Giffen was my favorite comic artist throughout

Please for the love of all that’s holy get Lea Thompson in this movie and bring back Howard the Duck!

Kamala is adorable, Monica is badass, and there’s a third person there.  With the addition of two actually likeable characters and actors, the chance of this being better than the first movie is actually possible.

I saw it 4 times in the theatre.  It was the best movie of 2022.
