FF7 is also only exclusive till May. FF16 can be licensed to other things as well and a PC port is probably coming sometime down the line as well.

exactly. The Xbox has been the same for me since most of my social circles play on xbox or PC cross-platform and that allows me to continue playing with most of my friends. I only ever really relent and get a Playstation when there’s something I must play and it always feels like it’ll end up collecting dust.

see im the other way around. I skipped out on the PS3 entirely and went 360 and have been in the microsoft ecosystem for a while. I have a PS4 that’s mostly collected dust aside from a few exclusives, and I picked up a used PS5 for similar reasons, exclusives like FF7 and then either to be resold or to collect dust.

A. Nibelheim is full of plot holes from the get-go. Always has been. Cloud is not a reliable narrator.

At least from that latest trailer the Aerith talking to cloud seems to be a vision from the lifestream. Wether that’s original Aerith or not remains to be seen but it’s clearly intended to be post-stabbing (her hair is down, the conversation is taking place in the church).

Zack seems to be in his own lil timeline where maybe the events of 7 are slightly different due to Cloud not being around. AVALANCHE still seems to have made contact with Aerith and Red XIII but maybe were not able to escape the fall of the Sector 7 plate or failed in their escape from Shinra tower.

While I agree on the exclusives thing. Game Pass is anything but silly. 

Console exclusivity is dumb and we should do away with it.
