Ah yes, all those rich billionaire scientists running around peddling global warming and making oodles of cash on that...

considering this was done by one dude in his spare time it’s really well done.

Because, and here’s a wild thought, you never mentioned anything about your TV being a smart tv and not all tv’s are smart tv’s?

Ramona doesn’t demonize her Ex’s but she actively tries to ignore them, and the things that she was also responsible for in their relationships.

There’s also an ending where Ramona and Knives both leave and Scott is left alone, which should be the reasonable ending.

I walked out of 500 days of summer relating to JGL’s character because “he’s a romantic” and “he deserved to be loved” and a bunch of other crap you think in your 20s as a dude. Plus the soundtrack and the catchy musical number didn’t hurt.

you can’t do that with the Portal either AFAIK. The portal works by streaming a game directly to it from the PS5, so it can’t multitask and be used for media if your family is using it as a media center and you want to play a game.

it’s a different take, and I do love that Ramona and her exes all grow and her exes aren’t evil really. She goes through essentially the same path Scott takes in the book and apologizes where she needs to the people she wronged in the past.

I... Never said it was?

I love Scott Pilgrim. I love 500 Days of Summer. I related to both of those bits of media in a different way when I was in my 20s and as I grew as a person I learned how problematic that was and learned to love them in a different way.

spend a bit more, get a steam deck, do more with it.

Scott Pilgrim is essentially the comics version of 500 days of Summer. People like it and relate to it for the wrong reasons without understanding the core of the story is that Scott is shitty.

At least in my house my consoles function as media devices as well, so if someone wants to watch the TV they have to use the console, which something like the Portal, that requires the console to be free 1000% useless.

Don’t say that around Sony fanboys.

Might as well buy an Xbox then and avoid the cost of the PS5, the Portal, and the dongle.

This. Both things can be true, you can hold companies responsible for predatory practices but you can’t put the entire scope of the blame on companies.

Joke’s on you. It’s gonna be Chris Pratt Link too.

The problem with that scenario is that at some point the director throws things into AI, and then calls it good leaving the creative without a job and leaving us all with shittier images.

every time a “real artist” tries to pass off AI as their own work I lose respect for them

unless your pursuit is making art and making a living, in which case, screw you.

This description reminds me a little of how animal interactions worked in RDR2, so far the only game that made me feel bad about shooting something.

The story goes that I was up near the mountains trying to hunt some cougar for pelts, there was a big... deer? Stag? I can’t quite remember, but I took a shot at it and I
