Fast to The Future. They have to build a time machine out of an old Honda Civic to go save Dom’s dad. 

The movies “jumped the shark” the second Vin Diesel caught Letty in the air after being launched from a tank and broke the fall by landing on another car. These movies were never deep or  nuanced in any way and I don’t think we should pretend they are.

I like that the opposite has been shown to be canon now, with the darksaber being too heavy for some people. 

Enjoy. They’re goofy and they get goofier. at one very specific point they turn into superhero movies basically and that’s ok.

I like that capable fighters are able to wield lightsabers in combat, but not nearly as effective as a jedi could.

Jedi survivor actually does quite a bit for this since there are enemies you run into that are not force users who use lightsabers but their technique is... crude. It’s nice.

If Germain says it’s bad, I’m gonna guess this is the best one yet.

I thought it was fantastic. I played along with some friends in the same room and it’s amazing how we all saw different things and kinda wandered around marveling at the whole thing for hours. It was a blast. 

it looks like the batmobile is a partial reworking of the exclusive minfig scale batmobile that lego offered with the larger scale batmobile. The front looks relatively unchanged except for under the hood im guessing to acommodate that machine gun mechanism. The wings also are brick built rather than a single piece…
