I feel like this is skewed. I mean, yes the consoles sold, but how many of them have sold to scalpers trying to bleed the aftermarket dry because of supply issues. Meanwhile I can walk into any store and get a Switch probably.

I just paid a year last month and doing the rough math, at 5c a day, i have $16 in discounts

What this article doesn’t mention in depth, which I think is a key thing, is the family plan.

Where, pray tell, is this magical “buy from microsoft” option because I’ve been looking.

Just fucking open a preorder queue. I would gladly pay $500 today to buy a PS5 or Xbox X and happily wait until one is just mailed to me. I don’t need it right this second but I hate having to jump through hoops to purchase a thing. I’m not sure why I can’t get on a waitlist for a console.

Those two aren’t villains. I mean they’re not the BEST heroes but they’re hardly supervillains.

Like it or not, Twitch is a part of the gaming world now and this is news. Don’t like it? Don’t click into the article and then engage with it.

hard agree. I thought 99% of Broly looked amazing and different and the animation was what I’ve always wanted out of Dragon Ball fights. The only thing that threw me off was the switch to CG 3/4 of the way into the fight. I’m sure animating a movie in CG during a pandemic is considerably easier than going the

Alright Buster, that’s enough.

Someone commented about this on a different article but Microsoft and retailers should really be taking preorders and vetting them that way, that way when console stock opens up they’re able to send it to the people who want one. I would much rather sit in a waitlist and make sure I get one without a hassle than to

I was kinda hoping if anything they would stay away from the anime stories altogether and did their own thing. Doing shot for shot remakes in live action only invites comparison and when you’re dealing with an anime that’s in most people’s top 5 list it’s just asking for trouble.

I suspect part of the reason for the added cost is that NES and SNES are probably still getting support, even if trickling. It’s been said that adding online features to these games takes time and effort and if the extra cost offsets that to allow multiple teams to work on different platforms then that’s A-OK for me.

I mean, I’ve had my Xbox One since launch and TBH some parts of it are getting iffy. It’s the only device in my house that regularly loses access to fiber internet and I feel like it may be on its last legs, so I would love to get a series X

but even then, as the article states, Japan is essentially closed for tourism, so money can’t be a huge driver either.

I bought a new car this year and let me tell you, that was a goddamn nightmare. Finding stock of even a small car like a Kia Rio or a Toyota Corolla was a headache.

I feel the same way about the Xbox. They’re releasing a special Halo edition which does fuck all for availability of the regular edition I still can’t find anywhere.

Is the update that you can get one in stores now?

I don’t see how spending 10 years in a relationship is a sacrifice? Sure it ended badly but it’s not time lost, you still grow in 10 years and they’re both still young.

It’s also possible his wife just didn’t want kids and John agreed to it, now given the opportunity and having faced some shit he realized he does. Hell for all we know that could’ve been part of what drove them apart. People change.
