he “manned up” by telling people he was uncomfortable with something before hand and removing himself from a situation when it became uncomfortable for him. If more people had the “balls” to do that we’d be in a better society

he didn’t “storm out”. He stepped away because he was uncomfortable.
Oh hey, people are different and handle things differently. Weird.
I’m an artist and I don’t like looking at my work, and that doesn’t even involve me being present physically or performing. Driver is originally a stage actor and probably feels more comfortable that way.
Don’t shame people for not being as apparently awesome and well-adjusted as you claim to be.
I mean, he’s entitled to do what he has to do for his own mental health, that’s fine and acceptable. The weird part of this story that was left out is the producers know this from a previous interview and offered to have him take his earpiece off so he wouldn’t have to hear himself and he would get called back in when…
I watched TFA last night in preparation for this on Friday and while it was mostly just fine, the mystery box crap really sets the film back a lot, particularly knowing there’s no structure or outline for the trilogy.
and, let’s be honest here, Pascal is acting circles around actors that do get to show their faces while never showing his.
I hate the complaint that two episodes “didn’t serve the story”. 30 min tv shows don’t have to be constantly propelling the story forward. It’s completely ok, and welcome, to have episodes that just let things sit and breathe.
“like the Poe-Holdo conflict being non-sensical and manufactured for cheap drama”
Hey, the allies did a lot of fucked up shit in WW2 as well. Conflicts are rarely fully black and white.
That said, it didn’t so much imply the resistance and rebellion were complicit, they just stated that there’s a large faction of people out there that don’t give a shit because it lines their pockets and that’s just…
It’s annoying too because there’s an in-universe explanation already being used elsewhere, and I have a feeling that this movie won’t really use Sit artifacts to the extent that comics have been. See: Momin.
I do like that in the following years Starkiller base has been integrated further into the lore of the prequels and the time between them and the OT. Starkiller base being a repurposed Illum, mined by the empire to death is both great and sad.
Mandalorian is truly very good and while it does cater to fans a bit with little tidbits, it feels more like coloring in pages of a side of the galaxy we haven’t seen much of yet, and in a weekly tv show format i’m more willing to excuse that.
Unrelated to the content of the article but Chelsea’s illustrations are amazing.
I know this is off-topic but I refuse to give Megan McCain any more bandwidth in my brain: Whoopi looks fantastic and she’s a damn national treasure
This week’s includes a memo from FBI brass saying Petey was fired after going against orders to cease investigations in Tulsa. Someone was sent to retrieve his badge and Petey then basically disappears. The writer of the memo offers Petey’s personals from his desk, including copies of rorschach’s journal, comic books,…
The Legends constantly fuck up time tho.
I’m guessing this season of Legends involves them knowingly traverse the Multiverse.
I thought Jefferson namedropped Gambi when talking to Barry
I’m ok with them keeping Batwoman largely on its own to set their own tone and background. The weird thing is all the Bruce Wayne mentions now and the fact that Batman has been around before, which means Ollie was not the first vigilante.
