Oddly enough, I think the "superior nerd" is an elemental part of geekness, it explains most of the obsesive behaviour towards specific themes/topics.

Also, you can zoom out so it takes all the screen in horizontal mode, may be a pain, but it works well to get the double spread view, then back to one page to read the dialogs... thats what i do in my sister's ipad.

Very interesting. I'm actually on the process, i'm just missing the last piece: a reader. I'm not saying a laptop is not great for the task, but the aspect ratio and the excess weight gets kind of unconfortable after a while, thats why im heading for the handheld department looking for a nice 10inch.
