Lets look at this. Risk vs Reward for making a AAA style game and as I am a Final Fantasy fan I will just use numbers from FF7 Remake which was a huge undertaking. FF7R took $200 million to make, and they sold 5 million copies (number from August). Now let’s assume they get the full $60 that means they made $100

I am on the train that I know I would have like what you are putting down of just a fine polished original. However I am also on the train of the more I think about giving me the meat and potatoes of Midgar, making Biggs, Wedge and Jessie characters I get super attached which will make the whole thing amazingly awful.

Don’t worry, it is just a bug, they will patch it for sure!

I think the most interesting way to approach these kinds of ideas, is to see what people are spending the extra money on in a game. Like saying DLC is dying I don’t believe is completely true, however I believe that the DLC I see now, especially in AAA games, compared to a 6/7 years ago isn’t of the same quality.

I have had a hard time picking the right game for me, along with getting software to track my times.... the biggest factor for me now is time.  I am hoping to speedrun Mega man 11 when it releases, it looks like it could be fun.

Then just like that, I lost what little interest I had for this being my next shooter I played. Can’t believe I am going to say this but it looks like EA is getting my money.

This news alone is enough to get me to purchase Battlefield V (which I haven’t supported since Battlefield 2). The idea of loot boxes infuriates me do to, I have poor luck and because of that I don’t get the things I want so bad, or the alternative, I don’t have time to invest in the game to actually get enough loot

See I have kept all my old systems for the core reason I actually go back to play many of these games because I get an itch to play a game like xenosaga (which was great) or Suikoden IV (better than V). I love all those games, and saves me time and money when I have nothing else going on and need a relaxing nostalgia

I’m really wanting to pick up either Splatoon 2 or Fortnite and playing them this weekend if I can find some friends.

The idea isn’t to cheat to beat the game, its to use tools of the game (things built into the rules of the game and how to play it), manipulating it within the gaming boundaries to beat it as fast as possible some games have more than others, and some are larger than others.... Its a challenge, and they are rather fun.
