Honestly I think it's just logistics, movies take so much longer to make that it's easier to just write the TV shows around them.

It would make some sense for him to be mentioned, along with some of the more destructive villains in Agents of Shield, but basically all these TV villains are "rumors" in the grand scheme of things, and Civil War is much more focused on the "giant stuff falling down in cities" aspect of vigilante justice

"Is Bernie Sanders the Steven Universe of politicians?"

The ones that go viral tend to be the ones about obvious things like Trump, but week-to-week when he talks about things like Voter ID Laws where even liberal people probably aren't as informed about the details, it's a lot more informative. Even this one, where people on either side just think that Trump's wall idea

It occurred to me later that the simplest way to say this is, he's a caricature of masculinity. People find that amusing.

I never really got the impression that Gaston was pretending to be anything. His obliviousness, self-centeredness, and heartlessness all pretty much go hand in hand, and he more or less wears all of them on his sleeve. His bravado at the beginning is tied largely to his muscles and hunting trophies, so it's not really

I think a lot of people love Groose ironically, the way that people appreciate Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. He's clearly a giant idiot, but he's so clueless and buffoonish that it's almost endearing

It's available for download on the eShop on Wii U. It's not part of the Virtual Console section, though.

As much as I'm generally in favor of anti-monopoly laws, Lego knockoffs might as well be illegal. Not like the competition keeps Lego prices down, and the stupid other trash brands keep getting good licenses (like Super Mario and Transformers) that would be so much better under the Lego umbrella.

I was surprised that they actually read the words "Brick-built Adventure Time Figures," which does suggest that they're considering using that direction for the actual set. If they move away from that, it'll basically be the biggest conceptual leap from "Ideas" design to actual set, as the whole concept of the set is

hope so

Really wish they would at least play up his disdain towards Coulson and Shield… The conflict of him liking Daisy but disliking Shield would at least be somewhat interesting, similar to Hellfire from the Secret Warriors comics they've been borrowing from.

I hope Punisher has a cameo in this movie where he tries to join Team Cap but they all tell him they hate him and he should go home

It's a direct continuation of a shot where he flips onto the top of a truck. It'd be a bit jarring if they swapped from CG to live-action between shots of the same motion

As much as the trailers make this movie look overcrowded with superheroes, I do think it'll follow a similar pattern to Winter Soldier, focusing on Cap on the run from the government, only this time all the supporting characters and enemies are also superheroes.

Exactly!

Considering that virtually every time Tony has tried to take things into his own hands against the gov't it has blown up in his face one way or another (either he makes a mistake, or the person the gov't hired to compete with him does), he may well have learned by now that it's better to work with them

The "producer regarded as director" phenomenon is interesting, and has pros and cons, but I bet the guy who actually directs Michael Bay's TMNT movies appreciates it

He actually wrote a blog post about it fairly early in the show's run. He doesn't seem particularly concerned with it one way or the other, since there's little overlap between specific characters, and the setting, tone, and storytelling framework are pretty different.
