The braindead, repetitive trailer music kinda killed it for me, but it looks okay. The overuse of CGI “Lara leaping” shots bums me out though. Just hire some stunt actors. Jeez.

Yeah, where the hell is my F-Zero? IT’S NOT ILLEGAL TO HAVE TWO RACING SERIES NINTENDO.
And it’s not like Mario Kart and F-Zero play that much alike anyway.
This looks extremely cool, but I’m definitely about 17% more nauseous than I was before watching those clips.
Yeah, mate. Not real outrage at all.
*lowers razor-sharpened boomerang*
In today’s world of post-release patches, there are games that are good now and games that will be good in a year. No Man’s Sky always struck me as the latter, simply because of the scale the developers promised. There was no way all that stuff was going to be in there right off the bat.
I like it from a gameplay perspective, but mostly I’m excited about a map that has a rusty, junky vibe to it instead of another high-tech lab, city, or shrine.
Man, I love Overwatch maps.
You could also take my old job of recording yourself reading out safety protocols and proper procedure for dozens and dozens and dozens of hours...
Undertale was a great game. I’m really, really glad that I went into it with no prior knowledge of how I should play. (and how crazy the fandom was)
I dunno. I can see the Jedi Council getting their robes all twisted over specific clauses of the Big Jedi Rulebook.
I’m sure you’re right. But accuracy and specificity are “light side” force powers, as we all know.
“You cannot kill a Sith.”
Um, huh?
That’s just demonstrably untrue.
I get your argument. I just think you are misusing the word. I think you are simplifying the wide range of human reaction to media to a single word which doesn’t adequately cover that spectrum.
Entertaining, pleasurable, and fun are all different words with different meanings, some of which more accurately describe certain works than others. By this uselessly vague definition a book about the Armenian genocide or children dying from parental abuse are pleasurable and fun by default because they are…
I feel like you are stretching the definition of the word pretty far to make your argument, and that literally everyone who worked on the film would disagree with your label for it.
It’s like calling the Texas Chainsaw Massacre “pleasant.”
Didn’t realize that Schindler’s List aimed to be pleasurable and fun to the consumer. Huh.
Did she, like...surprise the cop on the driver’s side? Or...call them a mean name? Why was his gun even unholstered at that point? Her being a white lady rules out the usual racist fear-based motivation, so...huh.
White female privilege is that deluxe shit, tho. This is NOT how it would have gone down with the cops in my hometown for me and my stoner friends, black or white. (or heaven help him, fuckin’ Lopez)
This kind of thing happens though. My mom, who is 100% white, looks 100% black in every photo of her until high school. We have no explanation for it.
Tekken 7 had a pretty strong showing for it’s first year at EVO. Here’s hoping the scene stays strong, because it’s such a fun game to watch.
It’s about damn time! He looks great.
