Like.... re: artist credits.

Out of all things, this was the tiny feature that I loved of Armello.

EVERY cards of the game included credits for the artist who’d done the art/animation of the card.

How many weeks/months will the “average” person go without work and pay between jobs though? Let alone the frequency of such issues as carpal tunnel injuries(seriously more common among artists than some might think, especially those who can’t afford to charge something like this and must take on larger amount of

The landscape really does look like PS2-era game, which is particularly jarring against the comparatively highly detailed character models.”

Honestly this bit imo is perhaps the most telling about it not being the hardware.
The Switch is old, but comparatively there’s a lot capable of looking much better with better

I do have to say that encountering “level 60 basic bird/rodent/plant/etc non-evolved pokemon” was such a pet peeve for me in the Wild Area of Sword and Shield and Grand Underground of SD/BP

That seem hardware runs stuff like Automata, Astral Chains even stuff like DOOM with higher performance than this.

This game’s performance is likely purely because it was released under-optimized by devs not given enough time to work on it in the first place.

The thing is that wouldn’t be as accessible to most of the mainstream users than “just hitting up the app shop”

All of this, honestly.

And like... seeing a lot of what CAN run on Switch that’s more demanding than this and still ran much better.... simply because devs took the time to actually polish and optimize their work.

I wonder if the people calling for better hardware realize they’re literally asking to be taxed to hide an

Honestly a lot of these “miracle ports”, even with some flaws, have led me to see the calls for “stronger” hardware with a bit of a side-eye.

Like, I’m at the stage where looking at a lot of past generations I feel like “stronger hardware” were less to allow better graphics/etc and more to hide the fact of pisspoor

Honestly this more than anything make me suspect the biggest issue with Pokemon here is not “the switch need to be more powerful” but “that game needed more time to be properly optimized”.

Honestly I feel like a lot of the calls for stronger consoles ultimately only just hide the pisspoor working condition an industry

Yeah honestly I’m tempted to chalk these performance to “not enough time to optimize” as opposed to “actually the Switch itself isn’t powerful enough”.

We often hear enough stories of “miracle port” of games that should be more demanding than the graphics style pushed by Pokemon, so I feel there’s definitely an

I’m getting a vibe from some of the other people playing this however that it might not be directly the Switch being too weak, when analyzing the graphics style/etc of the game, but more directly a lack of optimization with the game itself noting sometimes even wildly different performance between docked and handheld

The thing is that they cannot “create” their art “in the style of” without scraping plethoras of pictures to try and generate something that looks like it.

This is what artists furious are about. Without their work being online, those AI would never be able to create “art” in the first place because there wouldn’t have

That’s been a thing hasn’t it?
Like I feel (j)RPGs these days either are coming from the AAA developers or from indies.

On the other hand I feel like I’m noticing a trend that if a jRPG isn’t Final Fantasy... being on most platform but lacking a presence on Switch often feels like it ends up hurting the game in the

That’s the funny part that someone pointed out is that conservatives don’t just want a platform where they can be angry about liberals. They want one where they want to be allowed to be angry AT liberals.

The quicker the Musky One manages to perform all the decisions that cause liberals and left-leaning people to leave

On the flip side I don’t think he’s cogniscent enough to even realize which departments were involved.

And plus, it’s already sounding like that top companies (and major revenue sources for Twitter it sounded like) are threatening to take down their advertising if Trump ever returns.

Yup!

From what I gathered if you’re thinking of games/etc the answer is simple but also with a twist: It won’t.

It won’t, but that’s because it likely never was their target. Quite the opposite as what they’re instead aiming at is more... corporate: “Virtual” offices.

Specifically, the clientele they’re aiming for are all

The thing that make scary sense is when you hear that Zuckerberg is not trying to sell this to the people looking to enjoy the metaverse as a place to hang out.

He’s trying to sell this to the offices and midlevels managers mad that Work-from-home prevents them from snooping on and micromanaging every waking working

I mean if you think about it the USA do remain the third most populous country in the world so that remains a pretty big potential market even if a product sells nowhere else.

The composition of the preview image of that video has that big “guy gun down dude on couch, stare at screen asking who might have done this” meme energy for some reason
