The new liquor laws surprised me, what with the marxist liquor board and all that.

This probably makes you a more well-rounded human being than me.

They call it a child sized soda in Texas.

That's what she said.

Marfa is *just barely* inside the West Texas range, and also, far less Twin Peaks-ish than its inhabitants would like you to believe. More like Sedona with all its crystal angel baby magic.

I think Lubbock is, at the very least, a bigger black hole than Midland-Odessa. I mean, at least that place has money because of all the oil. What does Lubbock get? Psych wards and cotton and (until half a decade ago) a ban on alcohol.

When I moved to Seattle I was most shocked by the alcohol in the grocery store, not my albino cross-dressing neighbor. That, in a nutshell, is what West Texas does to you.

Only South Park is allowed to do that.

I really don't think the VMars movie counted as a reboot, since a) it was crowdfunded and b) it wasn't very good.

Having grown up in West Texas, I can tell you, that sadly, it is not, and you only have to wonder why life is sometimes stranger than fiction.

Also called drinking a soda.

I think you meant to say Alanis Morissette, natch.

Zing of the daaaaaay!

There must be a lot of that movie I haven't seen then…

I like Melissa McCarthy to some extent, but honestly, I fell asleep through Bridesmaids. I fall asleep through a lot of things, though, so maybe something else is wrong.

He's just too pretty for this world.

Don't forget that trouty mouth.

Nobody cares about the new kids.

I'm only here for the comments. *om nom nom*

Every time anyone quotes song lyrics on the comment threads I just sing them as Toto's Africa. It makes life more fun.
