I can only indulge in 1 stupid show a year, and that would be The Walking Dead.

I loved that final scene confrontation between Chuck and Bobby. Finally, the shackles are off. The whole season, Chuck has been trying to toe the line and keep his pursuit of Bobby within reasonable boundaries, out of what little respect for the law he had left, but mostly for his wife and by extension his family.

Billions might be a C/C+ show, but every scene with Lewis and/or Giamatti transforms it into a B/ B+.

This was a damn fine black comedy. James McIlvoy was magnetic and the plot zips along. Funny and fucked-up. Just like a deep-fried Mars bar I enjoyed every minute and couldn't have stomached another bite. A solid, fooking B.

Thank fuck the season is over. What a let down for me after such a great first season. Definitely gonna skip the first few episodes of S03 until people get a sense of where its heading. Small scale, John le Carre-esque spy thriller, then I'm back. Otherwise, adios.
