I think losing a highly trained mechanic for the season is probably a bigger hit to the team anyways. I’m sure they don’t really want that to happen at all.

“I don’t call myself a Nazi” - don’t worry, we do.
It’s SOoO entertaining to read this blog in the last... Forever. Bitch bitch bitch, bitch about Tesla, bitch about not having an obsolete option available in new cars... It’s become a chore to read Jalopnik. What about writing something interesting for a change?
This story saddens me deeply, losers as far as the eye can see and no redeeming qualities to any of it.
That car looks like complete shit regardless.
They are trying, it’s just that they are new at that Nazi thing. Give them time.
Or you will just do the sensible thing and get a new car while the old one are recycled or refurbished. Sounds like a non problem to me.
The majority of Tesla cars (excluding the I’ll conceived X that was a mistake) are already more reliable than anything else on the road. They do have some electronics gremlins but nothing to call home about. The refresh of the model S is already a lot more reliable (they figured out the handles that was one of the…
Good thing they can. Google it, they have been profitable before.
Yeah? Then why have they been profitable already?
You have no idea how (involuntarily) funny you’re being right now.
This is stupid. The “without seats” wasn’t an oversight, they were doing it because they were planning on installing them on site which is standard practice for a certain % of Model S.
Why would Tesla be unable to deliver on Model 3 when they have already done it with three different cars?
Yes you can. Amazon did precisely that for year. Why? They were building infrastructure which is expensive to do. Guess what? When the buildup was completed, they started turning massive profits.
I don’t understand the cash flow argument. They are building TONS of stuff, mostly to ramp up production on a car that has thousands of preorders. The only way they are going to crash and burn is if they completely forget how to build cars all of a sudden and don’t deliver model 3. They already proven they can ramp up…
Yeah but many Christians I know still get stoned pretty regularly.
Budget. Unfortunately FCA is in a bad spot where it needs to expand their market but downstairs have the time to do proper R&D. On top of that Fiat’s culture has always been one of cost cutting and quantity before quality, in part because the Italian market is stingy. That’s the result.
You should go fuck yourself.
I’m Italian, live in the US. I hate most “Italian” food in the US with a passion I didn’t realize I had in me before coming here. For the love of God, don’t EVER cook anything you think is Italian food for any human being, not just for people coming from Italy. That stuff is nasty, taste all wrong and it’s usually…
It would be terrifying if it wasn’t bullshit.
