Thank you. I am out out out! I agree, patient having no time alone with a doctor might be seen as a possible abuse red flag but some medical professionals can be hesitant to shine any concern or question when it comes to their cohorts...

Partner went to *every* medical appointment. Doctors all thought and said he was wonderful and so involved! As he was a medical professional too, they thought he was a real swell guy for making my appointments a priority.

It was a kind comment from a hairdresser who had observed some ‘iffy’ abusive behavior that that helped me listen to my own inner voice and get the heck out of my marriage.
