Pass. I’m tired of the big roles for women being nothing more than playing a supportive spouse. And the Oscars are bullshit. Viola had to settle for supporting but Emma Stone has a best actress Oscar.

Starred for the “Nope Train to Fuckthatville,” a phrase I have never heard but plan on using every 5 minutes for the rest of my life.

Amy Adams being snubbed for Arrival in favor of yet another Meryl Streep nomination was a true travesty.

Bobby, you were right! Her hair color change will win her an oscar!

And then immediately bulked the hell up for Batman Begins

Christian Bale has a history of really diving into his roles. Remember when he lost all that weight for The Machinist? *shudder*

Victims of these crimes in the workplace, or anywhere they occur, are not obliged to look inward and examine their commitment to feminism in order to combat them. Not conforming to conventional, commercial standards of beauty, or having healthy self-esteem, doesn’t protect one from sexual violence any more than being

I was with you for a minute there, Mayim, I really was. I, too, have experienced probably less-than-average amounts of sexual harassment and catcalling (though not none, of course, because duh), and I’ve largely attributed it to two things: I’ve always been a homebody, and I’m not hot, just regular. So I get that

“But why does she still have such a high profile platform?”

> And I adore Martha Plimpton. As an actress and person.

Fuck Maureen Dowd I’m not surprised she’s still clutching her women shaming schtick that worked so well in the 90s. It’s the only time she was relevant. But why does she still have such a high profile platform?

Just like my narcissistic mother.

ITS MIND BLOWING.

Like she is that hot girl who dates HORRIBLE GUYS.

Bobby Flay really?! He reminds me of that Mad Magazine character.

Is this where they are going to air that show about Kendall being lost in her house?

You both, as parents, brought your kids up badly and now SHE turns into the dog while the guy just is hassled a bit?

Like the idea and like the trailer EXCEPT it appears to be about the husband, not the wife.

oh my god that movie was so fucking weird. I couldn’t finish it.

I got to see this on the festival circuit. It *sounds* exploitive and trashy but it really, truly isn’t. Palka isn’t seen much in the trailer and isn’t seen much in the film, honestly. She keeps herself largely offscreen, and when she does put the camera on her, it’s in such a way as to not be voyeuristically

Why wouldn’t the cheating husband turn into a dog too?
