I'm going to build a box that will play "on hold" music with my raspberry pi, for all those folks sitting there, waiting for their raspberry pis to arrive.
I'm confused: olive oil is known for it's *low* smoke point. confused, confused. do you mean regular as opposed to extra virgin? i imagine that regular olive oil still has a low smoke point compared to canola oil, etc.
dude in the front don't look so badass. looks like his little buckling knees can barely hold that bigass helmet aloft.
Where's the most effective place (or most effective hashtag) to voice one's deeply-felt objections to twitter's recent moves?
Not sure what your price range is, but these things can be affordable. Here's an example of what I think might be a suitable box for $120 http://amzn.to/PjQBii . You'd have to add a drive and memory, but those can be gotten cheap. Perhaps scuff it up, and tell Brazilian customs it's used. I know it can be tough…
Who is it for: Mac-enviers who can't work it up to take the plunge.
i love having the nub there. It's really nice - you can manipulate the mouse without having to remove your fingers from the keyboard. Much more efficient if you're actually writing something. Probably not so useful for pure media whores (or those who object to how it looks).
Just found this out: you can totally disable notifications for your 'close friends' group. Just go the the left side of the main facebook page and click 'close friends'. On the resulting page, you'll see a "notifications" button in the upper right (which is probably checked). Click it to turn off notifications for…
aaahhhh... Trillian has been popping up messages like crazy. Totally annoying. My guess is that this is the reason...
whoops. "a seriously community interaction" should read "a seriously reduced community interaction"
What the hashtag to rant about this? #twittersucksass? or perhaps #twittercantmakeagoodclientsotheyswontletanyoneelsemakeagoodoneeither?
sounds good - why would it be fragile?
Pick up a sweet nettop box and run XBMC. That's what I'd do in your situation. Check out the foxconn options on newegg to start with. Just make sure their graphics cards are up to the task.
thanks, i'll take a look. would be nicer with a greasemonkey script, but beggars can't be choosers i guess!
sucks. iBlacklist is the way to go if you're JB. Doubt there's a good solution for non-JB phones. Hope I'm wrong.
A somewhat coarse grind for a chemex is probably where you want to go, as the chemex filters are thick and percolate slowly. A buddy of mine just bought me an old spong grinder. They come in 5 sizes. He got me a #2. Apparently you should be able to get them for under $50, though some are super-vintage and…
thanks j. i just came across some good info here: http://support.twitter.com/articles/41949-guidelines-for-law-enforcement and here: http://support.twitter.com/groups/33-report-abuse-or-policy-violations/topics/148-policy-information/articles/20170002-twitter-transparency-report . Seems that you're right about…
Can LH/Gawker ***please*** do something about this very-hard-to-read commenting layout? it seriously blows. Openthread is going to be nearly useless this way.
