How do games like this, Gardenscapes or any game that has that (somewhat cool looking) gameplay of puzzles that cause the character to fall into spikes or lava get away with misleading from the actual gameplay?  I’d think there would be long established laws of false advertising.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider has that in their difficulty options. All climbable objects or environments have this white paint over them but in the difficulty option you could make those marks smaller or turn them off completely.

His answer could have been one word long : darksydephil.

Yea I dont blame them. Maybe they could add an option to turn down the help aids but I’m thankful for them. Until we can break every single thing in a game, its worth pointing out which things we can. Especially since if you have a 3rd person view or something its not as easy to notice details you would in first

In all fairness it’s also a game with over 120 hours of play time. So one plot spoiler isn’t gonna ruin the whole game

I’m in the middle of my first playthrough so thanks for that, I hope you enjoyed the game without nobody spoiling it for you.

(If this ends up being some bullshit gacha game I will still enjoy watching all the cutscenes on YT 100x more than most games I will actually play this year)

Our local zoo has a “giraffe observation deck” that extends into the pen right at giraffe height. If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend booping a giraffe’s snoot.

When I was a little kid, a giraffe at the zoo lifted me at least 1,5 meters above the ground (5 feet?), before gently putting me down.

Giraffes are awesome. That’s all I have to add.

offends people who wanted this to be another Arkham game.”

No amount of polish is going to turn this turd into a diamond. But I guess it gives job security to the devs for a few more months.

Probably too little, too late to make this game an interesting single-player experience with depth and story, like the Guardians of the Galaxy game. To take all of the looter-shooter elements out of the game would probably ruin the whole thing (even moreso).

“Quick guys! Change from “shoot-the-purple-blob-the-game to shoot-the-highlighted-red-area-the-game.”

As much as I adore the golden girls, SMT and Persona games, I don’t think this game has any real chance of surviving. I don’t get why projects like this *have* to actually use protected IP names. All they have to do is NOT name it “Golden Girls take manhattan” and just use names that are legally distinct but still get

It really does look incredible but I’m already bracing myself for the inevitable stupid backlash to this general animation style a few years down the line, like what happened with the whole CalArts style nonsense a while back. There’s a lot of amazing-looking stuff out there now (Arcane, Puss in Boots, LD+R, etc) but

Was this not in the article when you commented?

This guy was not only a serial abuser of multiple of his girlfriends, he was also credibly accused of raping an 11-year-old, and the only reason the settlement was thrown out of court was because of the case occurring outside the statute of limitations.

I mean, if the bridge is safe enough without the lights, why are we wasting energy on lights?  Nighttime’s bright enough as it is and light pollution is a real thing.
