Absolutely psyched for another Amy Hennig game. It’s been too long since she was last in charge of a project!

Don’t screw over your Steam fanbase by moving the PayDay2 multiplayer servers to Epic, which made them lose all their progress in-game. That killed a lot of the goodwill PayDay 2 got them over the years.
“...various hurdles kept the team from being able to make it a reality”
Wish they would just say “Sony paid us for timed exclusivity” instead of this nonsense. If they recognize the fact that accepting timed exclusivity deals is bad for PR, maybe they should just stop taking those deals..?
Oh good, so not only did they learn the opposite of what Suicide Squad’s failure should have taught them, they’ve also decided to only milk four franchises from now on.
yeah, turns out live service isn’t the problem, it’s game quality that matters
The mining mechanic lets you engage with the environment and strategize in a really unique way. A good twist.
Is this likely to see the light of day? What sort of stance does Atlus tend to take in terms of stuff like this? Are they aggressive like Nintendo, or are they generally hands-off so long as no money is involved?
I don’t give a shit “how” they fix it. Sony is a multi-billion dollar company. Figure it out. The game has been out for almost 2 weeks at this point and the servers are still broken.
Probably because it’s a topic that has been beaten to death in gaming news.
Hurray, the armchair server architects are here!
Technical issues aside, I cannot adequately express how good this game is. The interplay between all the different systems and abilities and cooperative mechanics makes it an absolute blast from the moment you drop into a fight to the moment you extract.
This is an absolute slam dunk if you are a fan of Deep Rock…
Thank you for correcting the article soldier! FREEDOM HAS BEEN ACHIEVED!
Yep server issues and busted matchmaking are my only real gripe. Game’s a great approach to adapting the first game into a more mainstream genre. The other minor issue being that any time you load into a game you get little cutscenes of your character that last just a few seconds too long and they can’t be skipped.
Watched a mate play it the other day, and I must say, it’s very much piqued my interest. I had completely ignored it, as the first Helldivers was really not my cup of tea. However, seeing 2 and the fact it seems to have gotten almost a Risk of Rain treatment (the same overall game but from a literally different angle)…
No, but you can’t just say you’re a contentious objecter either. You have to demonstrate it. Historically in America, that means showing at least some kind of affiliation with a society or cause that has firmly stated anti-war belief. S. Korea, a country with compulsory military service probably has even tougher…
No, obviously if there’s anything you like to do to fake people made of pixels and polygons, you’re totally cool with doing it to real flesh and blood people as well.
Feels like you could’ve included a visual of what the new UI looks like for comparison.
This is something I would really like to see with better online support and voice chat so that you can actually communicate correctly.
I’m mostly a single-player, campaign gamer. I loved the game. One of the few ones that made decent use of the WiiU’s horrible touch screen. I got the game on day one (the console itself - I’m a Nintendo person). It had great suspense and immersion. I was so upset at 6-ish reviews criticizing this or that, when the…
