I am from Indiana, graduated H.S. in 2004, so it’s been a while, but anecdotally I can tell you they invited employees from a local crisis pregnancy center to come and speak during health class.  We were an abstinence only jurisdiction, and 11% of my graduating class were mothers and fathers when they walked across…

In some states they’ve mandated that these centers proclaim via signage that they are NOT an abortion provider, and do not provide medical services.  This is the case in WA I know for sure.

Former Hoosier here! I went to an abstinence only sex-ed program in my public school. A TINY 7th grader got pregnant from a 16 year old. She got an abortion, because DUH, and the whole school destroyed her. Nothing happened to him.

This news makes her messaging around forgiveness make WAY more sense.  She’s even more tied to him now. 

I appreciate that she’s included for the High Women, but Brandi Carlile is basically creating her own Lilith Fairs - at her Girls Just Wanna Weekend in Mexico (the best) and at her show in the Gorge where she first saw Lilith in the 90's.
