I think that’s what countered any sort of concern that Simone would end up with Chidi - even on earth she showed her strain with him.  Eleanor, while annoyed at him, has always loved Chidi for the flawed human he is.

I’m only consoling myself with thoughts of Keeping It, and Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman once again coupled up and making crafting puns.  It’s not The Good Place, but it’ll work in a pinch.

eye roll

I’d really love it if we could all put Bernie back on the shelf ... there’s a newer model on the market.

Oh my god your friend is a rockstar! And good self-awareness on you! I know I’m not the person who is like “can I vent”, because i have the opposite issue of just bottling up all my stuff, I could have really used the tools your friend took advantage of to address issues in some of my own friendships.

Ever since their Tiny Desk Concert I have been hooked!

Now playing

Because it wasn’t included, I’d like to add here that Gregory Alan Isakov’s awesome album “Evening Machines” was nominated for Best Folk Album and you all should be listening to him if you aren’t yet!

Absolutely - maybe she has been lucky enough to not have a friend who sucks the life force out of you with their need.  You learn as you grow, for sure.

Oh yeahhhhh, especially if you find yourself in a specialized profession like law.  So many people become your “friends” with a “quick question”.

Thank you! Hazel suggests that making boundaries with people who might be emotionally a LOT is being a shitty friend.  It’s not.  All friends are different, and some take more from you than you can give.  It’s just reality.

Hazel - seriously? Just because you can be there for your friend at ANY moment, doesn’t mean that everyone’s relationships are the same way and that all friends require the same attention. The original Twitter stream was about a specific person who always is in NEED. The idea that a person asked to vent suggests that

You’re really beating a dead horse here, and for what it’s worth, seeming WAY too invested in an animated Disney SEQUEL.

Yeah putting a pretty blonde in a tight suit that gives her bigger boobs is DEFINITELY not for the male gaze ;)

Oh come on Trixie Mattel is definitely up there!

Oh please - you just don’t WANT them to have said it. CBS has all the technology in the world to be able to clarify if that wasn’t said, but it was said. Now, I don’t agree at all with how the show handled it, it should have been taken care of when it was first reported and thoroughly investigated it at that point.

Jesus - Canada Big Brother it is for me from now on.  It’s a different vibe - there was also a gender non-conforming contestant last season and they were treated well, pronouns all used appropriately. Totally different story.

It’s more than just the beautiful scene. It was an entirely different story than anything MCU puts out there. It’s women-focused, centered. They’re strong, not created for a male gaze, in a genre that doesn’t just not typically do it, but NEVER does it. Show me ANY of the MCU films that do that. Truly, any single one

YESSSSS thank you! I don’t do MCU - so sue me. And even I wanted to see Into the Spiderverse, which, by and large was critically acclaimed as something entirely new and original. I just love that they don’t seem to see it because it’s not one where ladies and dudes run around in lycra.

Did I miss when Spiderman wasn’t in the MCU? This list includes Into The Spiderverse...

It’s b/c of Taika Waititi! I’m in the same boat... could seriously leave all these MCU movies in the dust, but I love anything with Taika - especially something he directs.
