Honestly, movie looks like a lot of fun. Inter-generational superhero road-trip? Totally on board. Just don’t bog down the third act with a half dozen tee-ups for future MCU projects and it’ll be a good popcorn flick.

I’m assuming that Clint Eastwood talking to an empty chair was more insightful and less full of preening, lying, sociopaths.
Holding parents responsible for negligence with guns is the only way that people are ever going to get serious about gun safety. Trigger locks are given away in many communities. There is absolutely no good reason that a gun is left unsecured in any household, much less a household with a troubled kid.
I agree that six year olds should not be put on trial, in fact I’d say that most children up to about eleven or twelve, at the youngest, should not be put through the court system, but I have no problem throwing the mother’s ass in jail. Where is the father in this too, because if he is a significant presence in the…
Add to that his tag line of “Pause” anytime someone said something that might be construed as homoerotic, was a thinly veiled twist on the “no homo” language of the 90's. Since censors were after rappers for their homophobia in the 2000's, he rebranded it to duck their ire.
“Grab ‘em by the Pisces.”
Right? There’s nothing wrong with making some changes to that.
Mary Kate, did you go back and re-read the lyrics before you let your angry grandfather write this piece?
“When you’re a prince, they let you do it.”
Now you’ve got me picturing Trump struggling to figure out where to grab a mermaid.
The latest victim of this treatment is The Little Mermaid, which has apparently seen some songs rewritten to be a better example for young girlbosses everywhere.
She knows my feelings about Disney’s live action adaptations and even teased me a few days ago about the “Moana” live action remake news.
Yes, you want her
Clearly no one asked for this but the people in charge are gonna pre-emptively make some minor changes while demonstrating that they don’t understand the source material at even the most basic level (Ursula is a villain — the things she’s saying are not true! And Ariel wants Eric to kiss her!) while pointing to an…
On one hand I don’t mind them changing the lyrics but on the other hand I hate all the live action Disney remakes. My partner insist that we watch them all because she’s still a Disney fan girl at heart but I’m hoping that live action Pinocchio movie finally broke her.
I can sympathize with the personal struggle you faced in getting care for a child with profound needs.
I can understand that it’s challenging to find care, and I don’t see how you could interpret that I meant that the parents could find care lickety-split. But it doesn’t absolve them of the responsibility of starting the process with the aid of the child’s pediatrician or child psychiatrist, if they had one. They…
Glad to see that the justice system still can see the difference between “intent” and “criminal intent”.
I think this is an issue of parental responsibility since the child has some profound learning disabilities. I don’t understand how you would think it wise to keep a firearm in a house with a child with such profound issues that you have to accompany him to school daily. That was the red flag: if your child has such…
Much more interested in hearing about the prosecution of this child’s stupid parents.
