Yea I know for some people sitting for a long time can wreak havoc on their bodies, my hubby is an example. He’s a big guy with a bad back so it’s helpful for him to stand as soon as he can. The key is situational awareness, and not blocking the aisles.

Also put whatever you are going to need for the flight in your pockets or in the bag you will keep under the seat in front of you. Makes me crazy when someone is frantically searching their bag holding up the boarding line because they forgot which pocket they put their headphones in

I was going to say something similar. It’s important to do the work and heal our past traumas but don’t put it on your kid to have a better childhood than you because you are trying to make up for where you feel your parents let you down.
