I will say (in Washington at least) if you quite because your work environment is toxic you have some avenues for claiming unemployment. It’s a bit of a process but it can be done!

I really enjoy “The Dollop” which is random history with quite a bit of comedy. 

I think it would have greatly reduced the number of armed officers and increased the number of social workers. So if you called the department of public safety they would dispatch the resource most appropriate to the situation.
