Yeah it's absolutely true. Only really changed to be a girls colour in the 1940s.

Huh. Can relate to this little kid a lot. I was the same at her age (short hair, opted for trousers, friends with a lot of boys) and yeah, some kids would ask if I was a boy or a girl. One teacher brought my mother into school for a talk, and he told her that he was worried I was confused and not able to understand

"Scarlett Johansson would like you to please STOP calling her "ScarJo" because ScarJo is a nickname and nicknames are for friends and Scarlett Johansson is NO FRIEND OF YOURS. "

baps and fur-burger?

Yeah, I used it as a teenager (when it was called Imac or something) and it stank. Properly foul.

Not if it's two a way thing...

I don't. I have no problems with my partners back hair at all. I don't find it unattractive.

"Entitled to stop"?

boobs and poon?

It looks too much of a modern style - neat and gelled.

...Yup. Policy - encouraged to do it and penalized if they don't meet targets. Not that it's an excuse. But the issue is centred much higher up than the average bobby on the beat.

I don't think that's what it means here (I think it's just saying "it's suspected that five women were attacked, but could be more in actuality" rather than suspecting the women of anything) but I agree the alternative vampirewithoutsparkles suggested is better - if anything it flows better as a sentence and is less

Re: femininity and masculinity...(the bit you quoted and disagreed with, as you thought it sounded like 'men's rights')

Hm. Just assumed both stemmed from...an interest in birds and bird watching.

...Is it? I went out with a bird ringing group and was probably 40-60 men to women. Maybe more.

That was my interpretation as well - that she'd previously thought it meant hating men (which is why she's saying "I also love men" to signify she no longer thinks that).

I think there absolutely has to be a hard limit to protect young people, yeah. I also think there's a different issue re: abuse of power, say between 15 and a 17 year old, or a 15 year old student and a 35 year old teacher.

Two years is still not much difference, tbh.

I didn't think you actually, for real, wanted to murder Lily Allen.
