This is all colossal shit show, but the fact that there’s even a significant number of voices standing up against JK’s transphobia is heartening in a way. It reminds me very much of the anti-gay movements in the late 90's and early 00's - hopefully a sign that yet another form of bigotry is dying.

I honestly do not care if people buy the game.

I just want them to stop rubbing it in my damned face constantly while I’m facing the threat of death.

Which is why I and every other trans person I know (ie, people who aren’t terminally online and weird) wish people would shut up and just buy the game. Or not. Literally do whatever you want, but please stop asking me permission to do something you’re going to do anyway lol

These same people are the last ones to picket outside of Universal Studios, the Lego facilities, toy manufacturers/retailers that handle the “Wizarding World” IP and things of that nature
