The politics they were discussing was about diversity within the company, and racist acts within the company. It’s not about discussing Trump, it’s just a shitty excuse to shut down employees advocating for civil rights within the workplace.

The problem with these policies is, “Who decides what is political?” There’s a huge part of this country that would still think gay marriage is “political”, and would say that an LGBT person talking about their marriage would be “political”.
