Totally agreed. A desirable combination of characteristics does not immediately guarantee collector status when the underlying product is uninteresting. slapping a 40th-anniversary label does not do that either. These were lackluster cars, built during some of the worst times for GM and resulted in uninspired cars.

One asshole and opinion have one thing in common. We all have one. Additionally, we all should agree that our own asshole and opinion is different.

If you live within an hours drive of San Francisco or San Jose California and own your own home... youre technically, and most likely, a millionaire.

The motorcycle would not have been coming in from the bike lane. A motorcycle owns its own lane and is far quicker than the cars around it. Should not compare the bike to the motorcycle..

Scooter secretly filled with cocaine.

Intel 8086 was one of my first ones!

countercounter point. I agree and its so bad that I only take my motorcycle into downtown SF, if I cant get our of going there. Otherwise, it is maddening and I want to kill myself and others.

You forget that many of them work decent jobs, still live with mom and dad and are babied and told that they can accomplish anything they want. (sense of entitlement and participation awards for all). A lot of those cars end up at auction after being defaulted on the 84-month car loans.

I live within a short drive of San Francisco. When the downtown highway was removed, it fundamentally improved downtown and invigorated the area.

When you see on in person all that changes.

Shopping there right now and their “best” offers on the CX9 GT AWD were very weak. Internet manager made it sound like he was giving me the deal of a century, but it was hohum average. They did come down almost 100/month from their first offer.

Can you share the price you got and what part of the country you’re in?

TLDR: Currently shopping Mazdas. Totally agree. Dealerships experience is crap.

That’s a really great thought, but its slowly becoming not a viable option. We’ve all had a huge part in making Amazon what it is, and all of a sudden we want to go back to the pre-amazon days? Even so. The days of auto parts stores being staffed by knowledgeable staff are mostly gone.

Same Situation (divorce and all that, but I kept the job) and realistically it took me 5 years to recover on all fronts.

An insult to diesel salamanders if I ever heard one.

Then you’re in the right place.

As a brewer. I agree.

Owning a (what I hoped would be fun) 2018 Forrester 6MT turned into a nightmare that ruined that brand for me completely.

Did I seriously just read that the CT6-V may be a 6 figure car?
