Hey, I live on Vancouver Island! My wife totally won’t notice an old Pulsar parked on the street nearby...

I have a friend who worked at the local coroner’s office. It was his job to get the bodies, when necessary, from cruise ships when they were in port. They do have morgues as it happens all the time. Put a bunch of people with underlying health conditions into a disease factory amped up with poor food and alcohol? You

No seatbelt pre-tensioners? I get skimping on some airbags but pre-tensioners have got to be a pretty cheap add at this point.

Whenever I see these kinds of articles it always disappoints me how the comments are inevitably filled with people saying, just get another job! It’s not always so easy. These companies reel people in with the promise of flexible hours and great wages and by the time you realize that those wages didn’t include car

A lot of the those Amazon trucks are operated by contractors. Just because it says Amazon on the side doesn’t mean Amazon owns it. The contractors must abide by the strict conditions Amazon sets out, like having nice vans that say Amazon on them, and then scrimp any savings from their drivers. Those guys are getting

What if we took the grill and attached another grill on under it?

Also within Canada you are allowed knives with blades up to 8 cm. Handy if you’re travelling with carry on only and want to bring your pocket knife with you.

One thing I’ve never quite understood is that this doesn’t appear to be an issue in other jurisdictions. Other countries made immobilizers required by law and so Hyundai/Kia put them in their vehicles elsewhere. Doesn’t the government bare at least some of the responsibility for not properly regulating automakers by

Don’t forget the V6 Escape could tow up to 3500 lbs while the Bronco Sport is stuck at a paltry 2200.

I really wish airlines would just give us back the one free checked bag. I’ve missed connecting flights because no one would check their carry-on and it’s a situation created entirely by the airlines. Just give us our one free checked bag and make flying a tad less stressful.

So in Canada, and presumably other countries, immobilizers are mandated by law.  Hyundai/Kia were never obligated to put them in, and while this is certainly not working out in their favour it could have all been avoided with a little more stringent regulations.

I feel ya with this. I live in Victoria with some of the highest gas prices in North America, I fill up my GTI about every 2 weeks and it’s been hitting $100 CAD a tank more often than not lately.  Also because I live on an island gas can get scarce when people get stupid.  When a big storm knocked out the highway

I was talking to a friend about this. Immobilizers are mandatory in Canada too.  Is it the state’s fault for not mandating the installation of immobilizers? We’ve seen pretty frequently that corporations can’t be trusted to make the right call, so it shouldn’t be surprising when something like this happens.

Really the only positive of rising sea levels. Counting down the days until Florida is under water.

There’s shortages all over the commercial vehicle industry. I’ve been trying to source a 3 ton cube truck for my work and at the moment, in Canada, there’s virtually no inventory. The Hino dealer in Vancouver was getting 4 trucks for the year! Isuzu and Fuso don’t have any, and that’s the story everywhere. It’s

It seems par for the course for every streaming show now.  Show’s that consistently put out a new season every year are definitely in the minority on streaming services now.  On one hand I get it, shows are complex, scheduling can be difficult, etc etc, but on the other hand networks used to(and still do) pump out 24+

“Via Rail, they’re always a little late!”

Bring back Wayne Gretzky’s 3D Hockey.

It’s not really surprising it didn’t sell well to families but these being used everywhere by small and large businesses.  Even Canada Post uses them. Ram is going to reap the rewards for anyone looking for a small work van.

My first car was a 1989 Ford Escort hatchback with around 225,000km on it. Got it for $1000 CAD and drove it around for the end of high school and a couple summers after until it developed a bad case of the shakes. The wheel bearings were worn out and it wasn’t considered safe to drive. When I went back to school in
