I feel more confident after this week's episode. Honestly, though, I was part of a minority of fans who thought it floundered down the stretch last season.

My concern is a drift into True Blood or AHS territory. Embracing the insanity is fine. But bat-shit craziness as a substitute for coherency and charm isn't something that appeals to me.
