I dunno. For all her talk, Emily really doesn't get much revenge.

Somebody help me out: What is Emily's (alleged) plan now?

Of course, Ichabod didn't betray Abbie at all. Abbie made a choice, and wouldn't let Ichabod talk her out of it.

I want to preface by saying I'm a fan of Sleepy Hollow. It is my favorite new show of last fall's network schedule. But last night was a maddening viewing experience for me. I thought it all was proceeding quite nicely, and then it all fell apart in the final 15 minutes. I absolutely hated the Parish/War

I probably could have taken Brom as the Horseman a lot easier if they hadn't already made the Horseman the Apocalypse's Death. That Brom development fell really flat for me.

Turning Ichabod's old friend/rival into Death/Headless was a low point for me. I like the show, but honestly I don't feel like it has built all that well on it's early promise. I'm curious to see how this finale wraps up.

I'm kind of shocked to see a C-range grade. I thought the way it addressed last season's ending was maybe a little too tidy. But beyond that, I thought it was good.

And it certainly needs a champion!

I stopped even trying to take this article seriously when Zack complained about Sherlock not trying to milk Watson's troubled war vet history. Ugh.

AV Club: Champion of the Traditional American Television Model.

This article left me scratching my head. It really seems like pitting accessibility, simplicity vs imagination, sophistication. With the former winning.

Can't wait. First up: Howard vs. Omar.

I'm looking forward to her take on Sherlock vs. Father Dowling Mysteries.

That's a good point. And I think it is a distinction that makes it difficult to compare the shows. Elementary is a relatively well-done TV show. Sherlock is a terrific movie series.

No. The CBS show would NOT have to be better than the BBC version. And it isn't. I watched Elementary out of the gate, and then largely lost interest in it. Sherlock, on the other hand, has kept me excited. Sherlock is a much fresher, more imaginative take. CBS's version seems more like a TV pablum take on

I get it the reference. But I'm also familiar enough with Alchillies' comments to think it was legitimate criticism of my post, especially in light of the down votes. If I was wrong about his intent, . . well, then I was wrong. Big deal? All I've done is explain myself regarding what I wrote. You don't like it?

They should just start calling him The Mole or Mr. Mole to avoid any confusion.

I've heard rumor of England. But I'm still not buying it.

Apparently, quite a few people. To my surprise.
