I can't tell you how to feel or think about Penny and Leonard's relationship. I believe it is a bad relationship that has zero chemistry. I believe the writers have just done a shitty job presenting it as anything else. I disagree with you that there has been real growth in that relationship. I know I'm not the

Two weeks. Last night episode, then the double-episode finale next week.

Really? I had no idea.

Yeah. The finale was about as great as I could have hoped. So, there's that. I'm bothered by the fact that Terriers hasn't been released on DVD/Blu-ray.

I hate Landgraf because of Terriers.

I agree. I still watch, and I try to get as much enjoyment as I can from the characters. But the show has been on a steady slide down, and this season has been awful.

I agree that Revenge made some tragic choices about which way to go about midway through S1. The first handful of episodes were terrific. I still watch. But once in awhile I think to myself, this show really lost its way.

Classic example of a show just going on too long.

Cleveland is the city equivalent of being slapped kicked in the face balls.

Why do you think the HFPA wouldn't be as favorable the Academy to 12 Years?

I get that part of it. I'm still left confused over Irving's character.

Sure. I agree. People get into bad relationships for bad reasons all the time. It is realistic. Makes for dull television? Okay. That makes it all the more maddening that TBBT gives us this Leonard/Penny relationship. It would be more enjoyable to watch if they could write it as a romantic relationship. They

Even better! No bowl haircut, though.

Yes.

It seems simple to me. Pants. Buttoned shirt. Original coat, dry cleaned. Boots. Voila!

I'm a proponent of new clothes, generic shirt and pants, but with his dry cleaned coat always on him. Coat + hair + Britishness keeps Ichabod Ichabod. I just find it mildly distracting that he is always in the clothes he was buried in.

No. Once it is written, it cannot be unwritten. So sayeth The Lord.

I'm more confused than ever by Irving's character. In the pilot and early episodes, they not-so-subtly made Irving seem like he knew a lot more about what was going on than he showed on the surface. And he was so willing to accept things and give Abbie and Crane leeway when the bizarre occurred. I kept waiting for

I get the sentiment, but it was unnecessary and forced. And it felt false.

As to your first question: The Winchester boys swore him to secrecy.
