Secondary screen( not mirror) is supported via respective apps. Videos app allows PiP, which can be viewed separately from the iPad screen.

they are only great for little kids. plus you gotta do your research (know what you are buying) . i own an iPad but i wouldn't give that one to a kid (preschool). they do break stuff. cheapo tablets are easier to replace than a refurb iPad.
