Plus anyone who's watched a ton of Mech Anime know that giant robots just need some kind of melee weapon. Weather it's swords, battle axes, tomahawks, or scythes, it's all fucking sweet.

If it's not your cup of tea, I get it. People were pretty hyped for the 98 version, and well that sucked donkey balls. So I can understand if you don't dig it. As life long Godzilla Fan I'm not that stoked over the monster design, but I am really intrigued by the story and darker direction.
