It’s sad how quickly businesses are willing to take advantage of people. Should some of these people know better? Perhaps. But unless you have a squeaky clean credit score and keep up on everything to do with finances, it is amazing how quickly even the most reputable dealership will turn on you.

Dealer has always beaten my own institution, even with fantastic credit. It’s hard to beat 0%, or under 1%.

There you go.

Who knows if Amazon “ripped off” the Postal Service, but without them, there would be no Postal Service. They were going the way of the dodo because of many various reasons, before Amazon became the behemoth it is today.

I won’t doubt your account of SD, as I have only visited...but thing is: I have lived in many, many cities, and found that ... weather CAN get you far.

Most cities are shitty! There are huge pockets of assholes everywhere! In places where the weather sucked, it made it completely unbearable. In places I’ve lived where

It’s super dangerous, too.

Because they believe by simply enduring the “bad” they will have an open door to this heaven, they don’t bother to do anything for the people and community they live in now.

Religion should not be the reason to act charitably, and not the reason to just sit around and do nothing while waiting

Yeah, uh, Fis(c)her? Besides being at best a below-average coach, you are very much a below-average human being, too.

Except they weren’t actually safety bars. The reason for the quotes is because while they were called that, they were anything but safe.

If I made a patty out of shit, and called it a hamburger...wouldn’t you like quotes around the word ‘hamburger’ before you decided to eat it?

You should be outraged. ESPN is hardly the first and only to do this, but corporate sponsors own our news, and this is just a company getting caught changing to placate their corporate masters.

27 is downright warm.

Correct me if I am wrong, but several things:
1) Lots of these guys (not Chen) are the “B” teams,
2) It is among the first events...jitters and
3) The guys are trying quads for the first time in the Olympics.

I think #3 accounts for a lot of the mistakes — reaching for a really hard move and maybe not being totally loose

I know it is a popular dismissive Millenial phrase, but can’t the old people just go away and die?

No, this guy is not getting his. And we have to be OK with that.

There is no GETTING his. Solitary is too good for him, but again, we have to learn to be OK with that somehow.

I wouldn’t call Budokai or Xenoverse actual fighting games. More “Saiyan simulator”. Which is fine for them.

But yes, a ton of the characters in those older DBZ games were basically exactly the same.

Pretty easy. It shouldn’t be ‘either/or’. He’s the terrorist threatening to blow up a school unless we give him the money.

Dating sucks for the majority of people. And it is a random crapshoot for a majority of people.

Well, the book starts out by explaining exactly how Bannon was and wanted to continue playing Trump. There’s one in just the first 5 pages.

Most people don’t realize this, and just think that every immigrant is a terrible criminal who is sucking down THEIR dollars. And if they weren’t bad people, then they could just magically get citizenship.

Extremely simplistic thinking, but it’s a way for people to compartmentalize this and not have to think about the

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!

Lots of people have always harbored these thoughts. I lived with and worked with them. They were usually careful how they phrased things, if something about another country, other ethnicity or race came into the discussion.

Ah, the old “There are people starving in Africa” thing my parents used on me when I didn’t eat my vegetables.

Fact is, not everyone in America even has the same opportunity. If you think so, you are mistaken. I am leaving it at that. The fact that you so misunderstand what fair means (not everyone GETS the same piece
