Our marketing team is always asking me to design shit like this into our new products, it’s maddening. Engineers don’t really handle anything outside of the “sell the best product at the lowest price” sales strategy.

Following in E.A’s footsteps with that stupid paywall

OMG!! I coulda used it to call for help?! NoWay!!! Must....play.....more...flappy.....bird.....

I’m sure he was afraid, but at least he wasn’t naked.

He’s not so much excusing the truck driver’s behavior, as he is dispelling the Nissan driver’s innocence in the situation.

I’m seeing someone blaming the truck driver and adding that the Nissan driver isn’t exactly squeaky clean either. I don’t see any excuses. It doesn’t have to be black or white you know.

You’re 100% right, but I don’t think anyone is making the argument that deadly force was justified. All they’re saying is that the guy in the Nissan appears to have been driving like an asshole as well. In other words, he’s part of the problem, not the solution. Obviously, it does not follow that this gives sanction

Because they are cheaper than the Ford or GM equivalents, and idiots like this are probably less likely to have higher-paying jobs.

Nothing will ever excuse the truck drivers behavior. Period.

Oh, I have to watch this. I’ve been on the inside of many of these buses in Honduras.

Was gonna comment about the movie as well. Great minds think alike! I really did enjoy the film and it was very informative.

Eggsactly!

Around here (North Central Florida) they end up as watermelon buses.

Well, it sure beats being turned into a house for hippies parked in the mountains somewhere, practically oozing patchouli oil.

It was. I watched it on Netflix here in the US. It may have subsequently been removed, though.

I’ll check that out tonight.

Years ago in Dallas, while newly single, I used an annual bonus to buy a jet ski and a $2000 ‘94 Toyota Pickup as tow vehicle. It had 215K miles and my occasional lady friends didn’t appreciate it for the little workhorse that it was, so I upgraded to a ‘99 Wrangler in a bit better cosmetic condition.

Bus rides in Guatemala are mad. The drivers thrash these old buses like it was a track-day rental, lurching through mountain passes, crunching through gears, losing bags along the way.

This is a real chicken bus.

Did you at least Google this Vinny Russo guy? His linkdin page tells you all you need to know about why he has good things to say. He’s paid to say good things and make people believe what he’s saying.
