Looks to me like there is no emergency ballast release mechanism on Titan. So if the hull didnt catastrophically fail and theyre stuck on the bottom due to a water ballast issue theyre screwed.

Whatever idiot that came up with idea of making a hull out of carbon fiber (or any composite) should be tried in court for any harm that comes to these people. There is zero advantage of composite over steel for this application.
