Serious question — how does one fend this off without causing a “scene”? Just remove the hand? Flinch? My instinct is always to loudly say “get your fucking hand off of me” but the setting doesn’t always allow for that. As much as this grosses me out to see, it’s happened to me and I haven’t done a damn thing. Help…
Weird, there’s been a 9/11 every year I can remember.
Incorrect, if he didn’t grab her arm she would have walked right into that oncoming train.
Oh man, her subtle eye flick down to the hand on her arm when she turns towards him is magnificent.
Clearly she was hysterical. He had to calm her down the best way he could. He forgot his foldup fainting couch.
I’m thinking for most women it was the Access Hollywood tape, or his subsequent denial of actually doing those things to women. To me it makes 100% sense that none would bother putting themselves through this before, but that his description of assaults and denial were too galling for these ladies to put up with it…
Something like this happened to me when I was thirteen. I was groped in an elevator by the father of a classmate. I never told anyone except for a couple of friends when I was in college. I feel people will dismiss this woman’s account because “it’s not like he raped her,” or this does not “count as assault” or maybe…
Well said. I hate when I hear people say that Trump isn’t a “real” Republican, or doesn’t represent the party. He’s just blatantly saying the same stuff that Republicans have been hinting, and dog whistling at forever. The base doesn’t love him because he’s saying anything new. They love him because he’s giving them…
Except not. Target does colabs with major designers every year.
Hear Hear! I mean, I think she understands exactly how bad it can get, and fucking decided to run for president anyway?!
With the exception of Real Housewives of NJ, I can’t recall anyone with such poor grammar and vocabulary on my TV.
...or maybe it WAS “bigly” and when he realized that was RIDICULOUS, he just did his usual gaslighting move and said he’d been saying “big league” all along.....
It’s disappoints and forever will that she had to run THIS hard against someone so damaged. I don’t think people understand just how much sexism played into this. I knew it would be bad; I didn’t expect it to be this hard.
Nasty women vote, Donny.
I’m embarrassed to admit that, in the moment, Trump’s comment really hurt. Hurt in that “brain shut off/dignity shut off” kind of pain. It’s the kind of comment that can suck the self esteem out of you if you aren’t expecting it.
Talk like that is just as dangerous as it is repugnant. No woman’s opinions, ideas, convictions, beliefs or crafts should be discounted because A HUSBAND DISAGREES with her. And yet! This Polly Pocket-handed filth throws it out there for good measure, in case we’ve misinterpreted this whole marriage thing.
I gasped out loud, not at the venom behind the comment but at the naked misogyny. It’s specifically aimed toward Clinton as a woman - she’s “nasty” because she’s speaking plainly and negatively about him, and in his eyes a woman shouldn’t do that - she should be ladylike and not challenge a man.
Defense attorney Mike Monico: “It is a horrible time for sexual assault in America right now.”
