Is this because they’re getting ready to roll out 22v lineup or something? I bought into the 18v system and I’m bummed that everything is 20v now. I’m seriously tempted, but a bit wary...

I didn’t know you could win the internet for the day already, but here you’ve done it... :)

I would also point out they work great for hooking most child water bottles to a backpack when traveling. When we went to Disneyland a couple months ago, it was so handy to have water bottles clipped on my backpack instead of trying to make a 4 and 7 year old carry them.

Whether its an extension or not, I still feel like we’re getting too much mileage lately out of this image...

Totally agreed, since having kids my wife and I went from being able to spend a weekend afternoon playing Diablo 3 or GW2, or any other large block of gaming time to the point where we’re lucky to get in an hour or two once a week if we’re not exhausted. I’m a big Guild Wars fan, but I’ll never have the time to grind

One of my favorite moments to this day was playing 2142 at a LAN party at a friend’s house. My wife, myself and 2 others were on the enemy titan and got in via APC during a round and make quick work of the defenders, and got three of the panels quickly. Just as I finished the fourth panel and we were looking great

Now playing

So many appropriate Daft Punk tracks to choose from...

I will make the pilgrimage at some point, now that my kids are a little older. Personal favorite sign from the week was I think on day 1 or 2 of the main stage. Some guy holds up a whiteboard sign that says “What’s Meepo’s favorite place to eat? Five Guys!”. It’s so corny it’s epic...

Similar scenario here with my wife’s second miscarriage (ectopic at around 9 weeks). Initially they tried a low dose version of the pills that some people get for cancer treatment, and while that made her sick, it didn’t seem to be helping. She was extremely depressed so we started going to a grief counselor to talk

Indeed, for most cooking applications we generally go with my wife’s “guess and by-gosh” method, but I do bake quite a bit and there it’s both essential and a great time-saver. We put labels on most of the dry goods by weight, then you just divide as needed and pour out of the container. Why waste a scoop on 2 cups

Been, there, was making peach cobbler last week and it called for “8 peaches”. I thought, that’s kind of a lot, but do they mean small peaches, medium peaches, or the megalith peaches we get about this time of year. So I cut it back a bit for the big peaches and still ended up with 90% peach, 10% dough in the final

I think it’s a valid measurement, if you’re buying onions for a recipe you’re likely to be in a supermarket produce section with scales. If the recipe calls for 1 medium onion, just put 8oz onion (226g for the metric folks) on your shopping list and you can weigh it right there. Size can be deceptive, but is not bad

Same here, I think it gives off a slightly more “grown-up” look.

Agreed on this one, I’m glad other people’s kids are more adventurous, but it’s enough of a battle at home to try and get them to try new things. I just want to be able to go out to a restaurant and eat a nice meal without the kicking, screaming, complaining and bargaining that happens at home; so Mac & Cheese it is.

There are few things in Dota as entertaining/frustrating as watching a Puck style on the enemy team...

“I play Legion jungle”...

That’s why I stick to the co-op mode, people still don’t talk much but they don’t generally flame or feed and it’s far more enjoyable than ranked or unranked. Looking forward to this as well...

Bingo, healthcare is NOT a normal free market. Healthcare is risk management, and you can do only 3 things with those risks: not cover them at all, spread the cost over more people (healthy people help cover the sick/injured), or spread the cost over time (pay when you’re not sick/injured so that the money is there
