Which ones are they on right now? My daughter was big on Thomas & Friends for a while, and I had to put earplugs in some days that show is so bad. She's currently on a Curious George kick, which my wife hates, but I'm able to tune out pretty well...

Same here, I mostly watch DOTA2 these days since I can pause a VOD to check on the kids, only get a chance to play 1 game or so a day after they go to bed...

And by coming soon, we mean in about 30 hours as long as mom doesn't pick up the phone line to try and call grandma...

PS4 Exclusive? Dammit... :(

Yeah, I still partially blame the school because I think they know that degree is crap and they still push it hard at a lot of incoming students, but at the end of the day he went for it...

Depends on the hotel, I've stayed in some hotels on business trips where you'd swear the walls were made of lead. I suppose you could duct tape the hotspot to the window though...

I would echo that sentiment about Marriott Wifi, I was at the Marriott Courtyard in Pasadena a few months ago for a business trip, and the "free" wifi was locked at 500Kbps down, while I saw close to 4Mbps upload. They didn't have an option for paid or I would have glad forked over the money, but it was pathetic for

It depends very much on the degree. Taking out student loans to get an engineering degree or computer science would be good debt in my book (as long as you finish). My brother took out bad debt to get a degree in Youth Ministry. I don't begrudge his passion, but he overspent heavily at a private school, and I think

BTW, if you live in a state or area where the power company offers a "Saver's switch" be sure to check the details of how it operates before doing the test. Here in CO, it cycles the A/C on and off on hot dates to lower peak electricity usage, but Xcel notes that it would only by used between 2-7pm, so as long as

Agreed with robnroll, Dota2 is free to play, so there isn't much risk in trying it out other than potential verbal abuse, but if you've played any other MOBA's you're already used to that. It's definitely complex and even after almost 200 hours myself, I'm only kind of good at about 4-6 heroes out of the entire pool.

I believe they've said the top team gets 50% of the prize pool just like the last few years. That's $5 million, but split at 5 ways (maybe 6 if the team has a coach that gets a cut).

Definitely the Shun, I upgraded from some no-name Target brand knives and absolutely love mine...

I'll swear by Alton's Chewy recipe til my grave. Of note, it's one of the few baking recipes I've found that still works perfectly a mile up here in Denver...

Nicely done, here was a friend of mine's kids, their father who cosplayed Iron Giant, and another friend who was Foxfire Ahri...

Indeed came here to echo this sentiment. I worked IT for a retail org for a number of years, and was shocked to see a Brother printer here until I saw it was a laser model. We had about 200 locations at the time, and when we had mostly Brother inkjets, they typically lasted on the order of months, rarely more than a

Yeah, we've got a lot of friends that go and help in addition to attending and we just can't go anymore with kids while trying to fight the horde. There's definitely some larger hotels available, but I think the organizers are worried about costs now that they have to sort of compete with Denver Comic-Con...
