Except it’s LHD with a MPH speedo - something that wouldn’t have been sold in Japan, except maybe Okinawa.

One of these infamously raced in the 24 Hours of Lemons. I was ashamed with myself that I didn’t recognize its racing number was 185 until the race was over.

I was picturing this like a drive through safari park, except instead of newborn giraffes stumbling around to gain their footing, it’s strippers on high heels.

Damn, I guess I won’t be driving my Tesla in the opening scenes of Cannonball Run then.

As a San Diegan (where the Atlas rocket and WD40 were invented), I knew all of this, because it’s fascinating history. In fact, the office I sit in is no more than 1/2 mile from the Atlas rocket testing facility.

This is a Mopar thing. The new Ram 1500s do the same thing.

At the Irvine event I drove my non-street legal Lemons racer slowly from the “show” lot, on the street for about 50 yards, and then directly into the parking lot on the other side of the main parking garage where my

Cars and Coffee San Clemente, which essentially replaced the Irvine one, regularly calls out and shames this kind of behavior on social media by posting photos of the cars in question and bans them from the event. I really like that tactic and pretty much everyone else I’ve seen does too.

I just got back from SEMA. I think you could call it the Overfenders and Overlanders show.
