The least hassle would be to ignore the request, and add her name to your Spam folder.

Yeah, this is a bad hot-take.

Yeah, I live near the BMW plant in SC, and it’s common to see cars running around a year after their release with camo’ed badges. I just assumed they were pre-production cars, and even after the release it’s more to spare the “brand” of any issues on a pre-production car, and less to hide it. Kind of like how some

I dunno if I’d call this “more” than the previous one. Any manufacturer sponsored course can seem damn impressive. I drove a previous generation X5M & diesel X5 around BMW’s manicured offroad course in SC, and it was more than capable, of the exact limits they measured out and built a course around. They have you get

I dunno if I’d call this necessarily “more” capable than the previous one. Any manufacturer approved & plotted course can seem damn impressive. I drove a previous generation X5M & diesel X5 around BMW’s manicured offroad course in SC, and it was more than capable, of the exact limits they measured out and built a

2/3 ratio is definitely the best. I decided that a lot of restaurants with good honey mustard sauce for fries are using some mayo/ honey mustard salad dressing combination, because even the thickest dressing is almost the consistency of oil.

My dad does this, I thought he was the only black pepper/ketchup deviant freak. I have memories of him just piling pepper on top of the ketchup cups at McD’s until the ketchup is invisible.

On my last 2 phones, Spotify shows the songs are being stored on my SD card, but no matter how I have the settings, it also takes up an increasing amount of phone storage with every song too. Currently even with all the songs stored on SD, Spotify takes up almost 10G on my phone itself. Tried uninstalling,

Well past its prime. Nostalgia come & goes, and I don’t understand why VW hasn’t capitalized on the 80's trends of the last few years in the US and brought us the Golf Cabriolet. Preferably in triple white with a “basket handle” roll bar added. It’s much more in line with the “cute” market nowadays than the 60's

It definitely wouldn’t be covered by the warranty, but I wasn’t saying it would. I was answering why he’d take it to the dealership in the first place without even opening the hood.

It’s likely under warranty. If any of my older cars threw a CEL, then I’d check the gas cap, then pull the code. But for my 2016, it’d go straight to the dealership. Why would I bother opening the hood? There’s literally nothing I could accomplish under there to clear a CEL.

Everything you said 100%.

I once made a baked mac & cheese, but realized partway through that what I thought was a can of evaporated milk in the pantry, was actually sweetened condensed milk. I thought spread throughout the whole dish it might be fine. No, nope, no. Sweet macaroni & cheese was terrible.

When the people at the recycling center gripe because I don’t get my PB jars clean enough, I want to shout “I bet when they melt them down it’ll clean off just fine!”

As a “bigger guy” (6'0" 250ish), I’ve always found unless it’s like Bugeye small, I can fit just fine myself.

Oh man the double jump, that just took me back to when I was 12. I sent my brother flying off the trampoline into a tree once, got a concussion...

Yes, but feel free to make it 10-15% instead of 15-20%.

Yeah, I think this flavored seltzer is for people who have trouble drinking plain water throughout the day. I suppose it’s a healthier habit than sodas all day. I’m the same as you though, it either tastes like flat, watered down Sprite, or really bad tap water.

“Cold as hell” is my favorite. People say it all the time during the winter without a hint of irony.
