Climate control systems are almost totally useless, and seemingly standard now. Don’t 90% of the time most people just set it to the max low/hi temp anyways? Mine is just set to 65 in the summer, and turn down fan speed once the cars cools sufficiently.

Most comments for visitors are pretty on point. Hot & humid in the summer, great restaurants everywhere, great bars downtown, and great beaches.

If you’re going to the beach and have a dog, IoP is your top choice too. Sullivan’s Island requires all dogs (even just visitors) have a city permit, and they enforce it.
